More than 3,800 production units operating in more than 44 countries, in fact ratify the affirmation of digital technology in the ceramic field and the leadership of KERAjet.

  • 1998

    A group of entrepreneurs with a great vision of the future and innovation led by Jose Vicente Tomás Claramonte get the rst digitally printed ceramic tile with what would be their rst prototype, which had only a print head.

  • 1999

    On 7 October 1999 the company is set, and manages to make and patent the rst printer for the ceramic industry, hitherto unique in the market and over the time becomes a revolution in the traditional systems of ceramic decoration.

    In 2000, it achieves unanimous recognition of technicians and researchers by obtaining the Alfa de Oro award from the Spanish Society for Ceramics and Glass which rewards the most featured innovations of the year.

  • 2001

    Starts making the rst ten pre-production machines and their sales.
    80 picoliters printing units are installed.

    Though skepticism is generated when starting to use this new technology, enthusiasm and belief in the project, the result of work by their creators, make some companies begin to embrace change: Tau, Zirconio, El Molino, Ceramica Tena,Supercerámica and Undefasa are some of the pioneers.

    Digital ceramic products slowly begin to invade the ceramic market.
    It works with the concept of four colors with soluble inks developed especially for this new technology and which can obtain the full range of colors for the ring process spite of the dif culty of tone instability.

    With over 40 machines installed and more than 5 million square meters produced, the technology is validated by ceramic manufacturers.

    Nano pigmented inks rst industrial test starts.

    KERAjet releases its second-generation machine, Titan 700, ready to accept large format models and to work with these innovative ceramic inks.

    Image transmission speed to the printing units were strengthened which enabled to avoid stop the production equipment to perform this operation.

    Nano pigmented inks, which are an adaptation of traditional ceramic inks for the inkjet technology eld, apart from expanding the color gamut and color intensity is directly applicable to standard productions because they enable to work with conventional enamels. First productions with pigmented inks begin.

    KERAjet takes a step further and releases its new laboratory tool, the Multijet Plotter P-140, based on KERAjet technology makes it a versatile, ef cient printer which sets new working parameters in laboratories.

    The nano pigmented inkjet inks, an outcome thanks to the great effort and work of KERAjet, released at Cevisama amid a great expectation, meant another step forward in this eld.

  • 2007

    KERAjet consolidated its digital printing technology in the ceramics industry by installing more than 130 machines in top of the line companies.
    It begun its internationalization process by opening its of ce in Sassuolo, Italy, in October 2007.
    It includes technical support service, 400 m2 showroom, machinery at customers’ disposition for testing, spare parts warehouse and commercial area.
    Units with variable dot printing technology are introduced in the market.

    24th September, 2008, opens dK by KERAjet, in order to give advice and support service to customers in ceramic design and decoration.

    Success of K700 GS variable drop machine.

    Kerajet’s successis supported by the appearance of other systems based on the same principles, but they lack the level of development achieved by KERAjet after 10 years of experience and constant research effort.

  • 2009

    The international expansion of KERAjet is officially recognized by the Chamber of Commerce of Castellón awarding the 2009 Export prize.

    Given the success and welcome received in Italy, Kerajet continues its international expansion and sets an office in Oliveira do Bairro, Portugal.

    New printing units with variable drop now and recirculation of ink.

    The digital ceramic decoration, is no longer the future, and becomes a reality.
    The success of digital printing in ceramics is indisputable.
    Continuing its internationalization, the company opened a subsidiary in China.
    In order to face the strong demand, KERAjet commences construction of what will be its new facilities.

  • 2011

    On February 7 Kerajet opens its new facilities with more than 15,000 m2 increasing its production and development capacity.
    KERAjet was consolidated as the leading and pioneering company in ceramic digital printing with more than 500 machines installed in more than 30 countries around the world.
    Its strong commitment to R&D and its great capacity for hard work, has positioned the company as the leader.

    Expansion of facilities. On May 25, receives the Company of the Year award 2012. KERAjet presents its multihead with removable bar technology, quick ink replacement, increases the number of colors and printing speed (90m linear / min), digital applications of effects: glossy, matte, reactive, white and metallic. New range of products with latest innovations and a new design: KERAjet 700/1400, KERAjet ECO and KERAjet mini.

    On March 13 Kerajet do Brasil is established, a subsidiary with which it seeks toget consolidated in the South American market.
    Currently, over 1000 inkjet Kerajet machines are in operation worldwide and the main customers of Spanish ceramic sector and abroad, have opted for its innovative technology, always open to new tile decoration possibilities.

    Alfa de Oro in Cevisama 2014 by ‘Solidjet’ K9, printhead for solid particles applications under digital control
    Kerajet presents the K8 head for digital glazing decoration.
    More than 1300 machines installed arround the world.
    Export Award 2014 by Castellon Chamber of Commerce
    José Vicente Tomás Claramonte, president of KERAjet, is awarded on June 2014 with the King Jaime I award,
    in the category of Entrepreneur for the company ́s innovation.

  • 2015

    Growth and new facilities.
    New building will show the rst full decorative digital ceramic line.
    Kerajet presents the new Kerajet S7 for three different formats: KERAjet S7 700 KERAjet S71400 KERAjet S7 1800
    KERAJET S7 has 6 modules (2 applications by module) with independent movement control and handling removable. Machine can apply till 12 different applications.
    First pieces with the head K9 industrially intended discharge grits.

    Kerajet presents the full digital solution for ceramic production. This solution includes decoration, pressing, pressing system, digital glazing (K8) and decoration with digital inks and solid particles (K9)
    Digital applications will be under control by Arti cial Vision System by Kerajet.
    Kerajet presents the digital third ring line for low temperature inks, metalic effects and grains applications with a nal electrical ring process, thanks to the electrical kiln Kerajet.
    More than 2800 machines installed in more than 34 countries.

  • 2017

    First installations of industrial ware decoration machines in different countries.
    Manufacture of the first industrial decoration machine for cups and bowls.

    “Alfa de Oro 2018” Award for the development of the K10 head, awarded by the Spanish Ceramic and Glass Society.
