WHAT IS SIMA?
SIMA (Spanish Industrial Machinery), will be the stage where the company KERAjet will open the doors of its facilities to show its innovative digital ceramic printing system. The event will include demonstrations, exhibitions and meetings that will take place from 27th February to 10th March in Almazora, Castellón. During these days, KERAjet will be joined by other Spanish companies from the ceramics sector to present their latest developments.
The aim of SIMA is to show the technological and inventive capacity of the Spanish companies, to show the latest advances and industrial technologies they have been working on, and to continue with the strategies to get closer to the national and international customers that use their machinery.
DATES AND TIME
From 27 February 2023 to 10 March 2023
From 10:00 to 17:00

Sigmadiamant
Since its beginnings in 2003, Sigmadiamant has been dedicated to the manufacture and development of diamond tools for the cutting, grinding, polishing and profiling of materials. Day after day, the company has continued to invest to be a pioneer in R&D&I, which has allowed it to always be at the forefront with its products. It has also been essential to work continuously with its customers to promote, together with them, process optimisations.
In the last year, the company has made a strong entry into the whole area of post-polishing surface treatment. First of all, it set up a pioneering laboratory to study the protection needs of the different materials being polished. In SigmaLab, the company’s professionals microscopically analyse the surfaces of the polished product, study the types of pores and test the compositions of protective liquids and mechanisms suitable for completely filling the open surface porosity. In this way, the company has succeeded in developing a range of products suitable for each of the different surface treatment applications.
If the formulations of the liquids are important, it is also important how you manage to help deposit them in the corresponding pores. Therefore, in parallel, it was necessary to develop the appropriate tools for the machines that brush the liquids applied in the treatment stage. In order to define a sequence of tools for each type of application, he decided to install all the industrial equipment in his laboratory.
In this way, Sigmadiamant is able to advise each customer on the appropriate assembly according to the specific needs of their product and to provide them with the optimum tools for this process. All this investment allows for the redesign and coupling of tools, improving their performance and quality.
The firm has consolidated its position as an important company specialising in the supply of diamond tools for all those companies that work in the ceramic and natural stone sector. Sigmadiamant has maintained an evolutionary line characterised by constant growth, a strong commitment to innovation and a clear vocation towards an efficient, stable and committed customer service.
TAS S.L.U.
TAS s.l.u. will exhibit its easels for ceramics, both the picking easels, with a size of 1800 x 750 x 1600 mm, and the stackable ones, the latter having the possibility of being for large format pieces up to 3300 x 750 x 1900 mm.
These are trestles with our own patented designs and with CE certification.
XIETA
Xieta European Technology, S.A. is a Spanish company with commercial headquarters in Onda (Castellón), specialised in the development, production and supply of alumina grinding media, especially high density (XT92) spheres and linings, for grinding in the ceramic industry, raw materials and mining. Grinding media with 92% calcined alumina in their composition and a density of 3.7 g/cm3, the highest on the market, give them optimum wear and durability properties. We also offer a wide range of sizes for all types of mills and applications so that we always provide versatile solutions to specific problems and needs. Particularly noteworthy is the consistency in the quality of our production processes, which are also subject to strict controls in both production and distribution.
Since our beginnings, internationalisation and the quality of our products have been our raison d’être. Pioneers in the manufacture of alumina balls and coatings in Spain, today and from our warehouses in Barcelona and Onda we supply and distribute to more than 40 countries around the world.
At Xieta European Technology S.A. we are also pioneers in the manufacture of AZ Nanobeads: alumina microspheres developed for very demanding grinding in high speed mills. AZ Nanobeads replace traditional zirconium grinding media due to their improved performance and a very significant reduction in grinding cost. In the ceramic industry they are used especially in the grinding of digital ceramic inks, but any industry using high speed mills where nanometre grinding sizes are required is a potential end user.
KEELTEK
Keeltek is a model of R+D+i in the ceramics sector, developing advanced robotic technology and integration solutions for the sector.
KEELTEK is a young company that already has a strong projection in Europe, especially in France in very dynamic sectors technologically speaking, although it has always wanted to maintain its essence and roots in Castellón, where it was founded.
We join the SIMA event in the Spanish industrial ceramics sector, as an excellent reference of technological dynamism and continuous capacity to adapt to new market trends.
An example of these trends is the continuous implementation of large ceramic formats in the current production scene with an increasing demand. In this line, from KEELTEK we have provided solutions with the integration of industrial robotic technology in which we are specialists, an example of these innovations are our brands BRIOKOR, a line designed for the automated reinforcement of large ceramic formats with international patent and BRIOPLUS designed to be integrated in polishing or grinding lines, which we will present at the SIMA event.
“KEELTEK, committed to the environment, working for a sustainable world”
